I had a really annoying squeak, not rattle from the rear seat, turned out to be the seat latch, this was replaced under warranty, try putting some material round the metal lugs the seat locks on to, if that stops the rattle it's the lugs

I've always found a good going over the seats with conditioner sorts out and rubbing squeaks in the seats
only interior noise i have is a rattle from the parcel shelf i cured this on the B5 and B7 with some Velcro on the lugs but the different design i cant yet find a solution for this

Yeah my car was in Warrington Audi - cant fault the dealer but all in all since 1st March the car has been at the dealers for a total of weeks.
As for the seat fix they said it was the centre arm rest.
