Looks stunning and love the steering wheel.
I don't think your gonna be the only one with Riviera paint though as it seems theres one for sale on Pistonheads!
At least you can say you set the mark.

The pic they've acquired looks somehow familiar to me?.....so it's not an actual car but an order only at this stage. I hope they don't mind the wait, as mine took from 30.07.12 to 01.03.13 (7 months 2days) to arrive.

Thought that the picture in the ad was yours.
That was worth the wait though, and no doubt yours has a better spec with ceramics and all that.
You've got a cracking motor.

This caused a bit of a fuss TBH. Had my dealer on phone this-arvo asking if I was selling via Pstnhds ! Not for 65k I said - not with CCB's. It will be difficult to keep when the new R8 is released I think ?

Can be a challenge but a few basic steps early days will ensure it stays in good shape; (I have used for an ex 997 Porker with similar wheel)

Pre-treat the alcantara with a good automotive protector, (I used Williams F1 Ceram' coat)
Don't drive with dirty hands, (wear gloves if no choice?)
Buy a soft bristle brush from a shoe shop, (but use it v carefully)
Be prepared to maintain it from time to time, (it will need more TLC than leather),
Clean with warm water and a face cloth (preferably light colour - it will inspire you to keep cleaning when you see the dirt),
Little and often is the trick and I re-treat once a year,

Wear gloves? That's uber ghay. Wrong car, TT was the right one!

Abuse it like you 'bout to lose it. Then give it to a detailer to sort out :D

Well I guess it's relative to how badly you want to keep it looking new.

Generally they're easy to live with for normal road use; surprising how much you perspire via your hands in a Viper GT3RS at 150+ around Spa though. Then they get seriously grubby.

After showing this to my partner she commented how it's the same colour as the invalid cars you used to see at football in the late 70's! I love it by the way, cracking choice. Take no notice of her.
