Just for fun, I google mapped grimsby port - you can see the vw/audi part using street view!...

I did mention to the dealer that I have google mapped Sheerness port and couldnt see my car there and he did have to ask if that was possible, bless him....

My dealer did send me those pictures, so I have to be a little grateful to him

LOL yes the dealer did warn me that there is packing in the suspension to enable it to go on and off lorries/boats without scratching the bumpers... It does look like my Range rover like that!!!

Collecting it Thursday at 16:00.... cant wait....

Looks awesome! Sepang looks a shade darker than I thought. But it looks even better!

Still no firm date on mine, I'll chase at the end of the month to get an idea. This is worse than Christmas as a pre teen!

Yes the waiting game is a bit rubbish, that picture was taken inside one of their units with lights on, so the shade of Sepang might be a little different to that shown, I havent seen a Sepang Blue RS4 long enough to really see the colour, the 2 I hae seen have been coming towards me at speed....

Just been told mine is at the dealer and can be collected in two days! Still waiting for the insurance company to get back to me about paying me out for my stolen BMW. Annoying as it was my deposit so might have to sit tight.

Question, does Audi give you 7 days free insurance so you can collect the car without your insurance documents?

Yes, you have to arrange in advance, dealer will give you the details.

But also, just because your car has been written off you can still transfer the remainder of the policy to your new car, I did this in 2001 when I wrote off a 5 month old impreza in Oct 2000 and the insurance ran to May 2001, so when I picked up my new impreza I used the remainder of the policy until May, then paid a whooping 3k the next year... Ring your existing insurance company and speak with them as they should be able to either get you electronic documents or can fax your dealer direct

Have got an appointment to pick up the RS4 on Thursday 14th, cant wait!!!!

Ahh shucks you remembered!!! Thanks!! All i can say is that I will never use another garage again, I will do a better write up over the weekend but they took 2.5 hours to hand the car over, made me feel like I was the most special person in the world, all senior staff came to meet me and to top it off they got me a pair of tickets for the Chelsea v Spurs match... Unbelieveable service
