Re: Finally...
just had a 40mile cross country blast and I am absolutely smitten.
Its glorious!
It sounds the bollocks! Looks the bollocks and handles amazing, totally tail happy with the sports diff but very controllable
Only thing is the ride is super firm even in comfort and dynamic steering is rubbish.
Buckets and 'ramics are awesome!

Is the sport diff standard? I went through the configurator and couldn't see a mention.D_K wrote:just had a 40mile cross country blast and I am absolutely smitten.

No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: Finally...
Yes I believe it is on the RS cars.
When I mean tail happy, I mean this car will kick the back end out at very low speeds and TC will cut it. Obviously IV only had a quick drive but I can imagine it has a Sport TC mode which will allow moderate drifting?!

Re: Finally...
But noticably slower than the R8 V10. That is obvious, but you do "get used" to how fast the V10 R8 is and its only when you drive a 450PS 1700kg car you realise that 525PS in 1590kg = VERY fast! Super car fast.
Re: Finally...
Try the tiptronic out, when i went to the preview drive and had it in Manual mode when it red lined it did not shift up, just bounced.

Re: Finally...
Yes this is true and nor will it change down unless it absolutely has too which I like. This is the worst aspect of the Mrs' porker because it will still kick down and change upTrups wrote:Try the tiptronic out, when i went to the preview drive and had it in Manual mode when it red lined it did not shift up, just bounced.
