You'll need to get the new Thailand mounting kit for the GoProHD. It helps to spot the ladyboys well before that awkward moment you're confronted by a chick with an unusually large <beep>.

20% depreciation in 6 months?? I would say its worth the risk as long as miles were below 10k.

I must be missing something in this thread.

If an RS4 can be obtained with a 20% discount, why would the second purchasor not buy a new car ? instead of taking a 6 month old used model.

Are you talking about the RS4 or the new GoProHD ladyboy detector? Because I feel you just can't put a value on early ladyboy detection, that's why the buddy system is invaluable when in Thailand.

Back OT, 20% in 6 months? That would depend on a few things IMO, is the 'loon going to be out then? How much is the new RS6 going to be and when is it out? How good is the new M3? (prolly not so important).
Get out before losing 20% in 6 months is a tough one, I'd say very close to breakeven. But how does your question apply to everyone?

If you can wait until the first respected road test that may help make your decision. I am assuming that it will come out before any demonstrators are available.

If the review is favourable I would say you would stand a good chance of breaking even especially if you keep the miles to 5k!

How many times in your life will you be able to own a brand new RS4 upon launch day (while not sporting a hip replacement)?
Aren't you getting married soon DK, isn't lady_DK wanting kids, will you have this option next time the RS4 launches?
Ok, so say you don't breakeven, how much is an acceptable loss in 6 months. If the car was stinking good, you'd probably not care.
+1 to Kiwi. Wait for a review, if you can, if not weigh it up in the big picture of life. I think it will review like the RS5 did, at least from Evo.
