DRIVEN+ RS4 (B8) Review

Post by robmorris85 » Sat Jun 07, 2025 10:01 am

A new DRIVEN+ car review of the Audi RS4 (B8). What’s everyone’s thoughts? Did my COPART bought example fly the flag for our B8 version?

Currently reviving my Copart bought Audi RS4 Avant (B8) Daytona Grey - Financial ruin?

Certainly did. Thought it was a good review. The old B8 really is an excellent all rounder

Yeah I thought the review came out well and balanced. Glad the car didn’t disappoint 😂 I’m still having issues with the exhaust valves sticking closed but nothing a screw driver can’t fix 😅

I too thought it was a good honest review.

He didn't mention the handling, which for me was the biggest eye opener when I bought mine. I've no idea where the limits are and I'd definitely need a track day to find out.

Another wake up moment was autobahn travel, - you can tell where the car was developed! I had a few runs to Berlin and expected the high speed cruising to be effortless, but it was in a different league to anything I'd experienced before.

Funny you say that - my RS has developed this issue after being off the road for a few months in the summer! Going to need to give them a good clean out and free them up

Cannot wait to take mine on the autobahn - likely next year. Glad to hear it doesn't sound like it disappointed you

Was a good review as was Jayemm’s seems these cars that were battered for a hard ride and understeer are now being seen for Character and real world usability.

I also still think it is one of the best looking cars full stop!
2013 B8 RS4 - Reflex Silver Black Pack probably the 2nd lowest mileage in County
2014 B8 RS4 - Daytona Grey bag of nails with Silver Styling gone
