some advice needed please lads
New discs and pads on approx year ago.
Left my car sitting for approx two days during very heavy rain.
When I went to move it I had that feeling of the brakes been stuck on.
Quick nudge of the throttle and away we went. Horrendous grinding noise etc but after a few miles and couple of stops everything seemed fine.
Now every single morning when I come out my brakes look like this, faint shadow of brake pads and also like water marks and sound terrible, until I do about 10 miles then everything sounds fine.
Any ideas lads? More miles? New pads? Normal and just get on with it? Strange thing is it’s never happened before in 2 years of ownership.
Also to add brakes feel great, stopped fast and good pedal feel.

Thoughts:
When you parked up before the 2 days standing, was the car hot and it raining then? Hot discs / extra oxidisation. Although does not explain it happening every day.
Did the rain leave residue on the car? Some sort of contaminate in the atmosphere..
Have you 'stressed' the brakes since - may be option to get them hotter than usual to try and remove whatever may on them?
Or have you used a new alloy cleaner or coating that may have covered the discs and the rain coincidence? A pressure wash of the discs perhaps?
