I’m Away so have emailed but no reply. It’s a good deal at that money but considering a downgrade on value I’ve had on a site we own in a good part of London I’m not surprised.

Wbac will not stand to that value im sure.
Will be interesting to hear how you get on. Agree with the WBAC comment, hear they always look for ways to write cost down but usually they are way off what the car is worth privately, even in the trade, and the take zero account of options. Bet the car isn't around for long, not past the weekend!
I tried googling the company but no reviews.

I see your post about selling and the warranty, I assume you were thinking of more than this trade price.
Yes, quite a bit more. I know how good my car is and I'm getting similar WBAC quotes for mine. Talking to a dealer tomorrow. Suspect I'll keep mine another year - my better half wants a 4wd estate and struggling to think of anything to replace the car with. B9 RS4s still too expensive. Thanks.

I came out of a nice 2013 sport autobiography, great cars but again I wouldn’t run one without a comprehensive warranty.

I think you may need to sell privately to get good money.

Good, that answers that. Just been to Edinburgh Audi - they have a 2015 S4 for sale for more money :-)

Hadn't realised S4 and RS4 out of production since July. S4 isn't coming back - at least as a petrol. RS4 expected, but specialist salesman said it'll be the last ever. Whether he is right.........

He was openly disappointed that the S4 will be diesel - to meet overall CO2 figures as, in his opinion, petrolhead don't want a diesel.

Yes the B9 had about a six month production run and was meant to be back in production by now. Still no ability to order one. It will be interesting to see if that has any effect on depreciation.

S4 to be diesel. That seems unlikely given parent company, Porsche, ditched all diesels and the Sq5 went from diesel to petrol?

I hope you are right, but Audi along with all other manufacturers have to meet emissions targets (by 2022?). The 'Accredited Sports Champion' at Lookers said they and others were campaigning hard to get Audi to reconsider.

He said other cars were affected too. Seems very short-sighted but equally I can understand governments set targets with good intentions then manufacturers find ways to meet them, so plausible.

He also mentioned that the 1.4 engine in the A4 is no longer available, replaced with a 2.0. Just looked on their configurator and he is correct. Go figure!

That's what I was told when I went to enquire about a B9 RS4 at Audi Watford. S4 will be diesel with production in q2 '19, RS4 won't begin production until q4 '19 but will have the updated grill and interior.

Only cancelled orders, pre-reg and used stock were available at the end of 2018. They were trying to get me into their DP's merlin 68 reg RS4 but it was spec'd up to the hilt and we couldn't agree a price. It went into trade and has popped up again for less than I offered. 🙄
