If you haven't already bought the tyres, probably just best to ask them to come and collect and trailer it away
Is it that bad? I’ve already bought the tyres...

Is it not just a question of new shocks and repressurisation?

Should I not be driving it? It only seems to knock a little for the first quarter mile.

Ill check the rim tomorrow

Sorry to read the troubles you’re having with this, shame as they’re great cars. It can be easily fixed though.

But yes, that is a 'good' leak going on there and quite how a dealership of any kind, can let that pass their used car check is just criminal. Shame on Porsche...the AA could do a better health check and they know next to diddly-squat.

Eddie - I did think the same about the wheel, looks like a hairline crack but the image is not the best. So could just be a water mark, but well worth a double check to appease the mind.

Going back tomorrow once the locking but arrives to change the unpunctured tyre, I’ll have a look then.

I’ve written Porsche an email to make sure everything including pictures is in writing. If anyone want to see it and offer any advice, message me and I’ll send it to you

Me and the family love the car already. The A45 is becoming a distant memory very quickly. I just hope the dealer plays ball and gets the car to the standard it should have been sold at.

What year was your A45? I have a FL one with all the whistles and bells. It’s great at cornering and grip, now it’s tuned it actually feels as fast as it should be stock. Apart from a few other bits it drives me to distraction. Can’t wait to get rid of it.

That'll be a burst DRC hose.

I had one fail, 2 weeks out of warranty, 10k miles. Fortunately after a little persuasion, Audi UK refunded me the £400 cost to replace.

Most dealers don’t check cars, they just hope the warranty covers any issues that arise, that way they don’t have to fork out for any prep. I’ve seen dogs at Audi, BMW, Jaguar etc etc, they would all sell a wreck to their Granny if they thought there was profit in it.

Playing devils advocate that possibly happened on the drive after pick up.

Mine failed on a 100mile drive, no warning, only susptim was a noticeable dive and pull when braking.

And the knocking from the boot came later.

You’ll probably be ok, but initially even Audi UK senior customer services said that a hose was perishable and would not be covered under a warranty.....

They then went away and had a rethink, contacted the dealer without telling me and refunded me. Very odd.....

I noticed that the view shared by most (not all) it that comfortable mode suspension is about right, and dynamic is way to hard. I’m finding with mine, dynamic is about right, and comfort bounces around in a boat like manner at times. My understanding of DRC so far points to low pressure. Have I got that right?

Yes low pressure can effect it.

Try Auto, as its baseline is firmer than Comfort but not to Dynamic levels.
