Yellow RS4 on British Car Auctions

So here's how it worked out:

OE64 JCJ was my car, bought Approved Used last summer for £39k.
New 911 T on way so needed to sell, lots of interest but no one wanted to pay more than £33k.

Sold it to WeBuyAnyCar for £33500, it's now advertised on Autotrader at £39995.00.

Can't see it selling for that much..

It was still advertised on autotrader a few days before appearing at BCA, it was dropped to £32k and change by the private individual. I don't know the sale price but imagine it would be circa £31k-£32k, possibly closer to £35k if a few traders were after it.

Lowest I advertised it for was £34995, not £32k

Off Topic - slightly..

But we definitely live in a WBAC world these days, its easy access to know immediately how much a dealer is likely to offer if your circumstances change (and sadly they do), so i think the question is, why should people pay more?

Access to finance, maybe
“Comeback” to a dealer, sure

But reality is, if you pay over, I dunno, 5% max of WBAC valuation privately, you are throwing money away.

And can you imagine when you come to sell it.....oh well sir, this colour isn't popular so you've got a very limited market...usual BS
