Donington Park - Some Pics
Peeps,
got some pics from a recent track day so I thought I'd share with you all ........ forgive the lack of shine on the paintwork, the weather was awful on the way to the track.....

Nice, bet the brakes were clanging away when you got back to the pits.

Re: Donington Park - Some Pics
LOL .. the brakes were smokin
yes, making a right noise as they were cooling down...completely dead by the end, no resistance on the pedal at all!
I'm going to order some SRF fluid and some DS2500 pads and give that a try at rockingham shortly ........
It became an effort to try and preserve the brakes... the only reason the Beemer got by (honestly)......

Re: Donington Park - Some Pics
Hi Will,
had a great time, that suspension set-up you did really works well.
While one of our party was taking some vids the Marshall on that particular corner said that my car had the best sound from the exhaust of everyone running that night... nice ...
someone who appreciates a good V8 rumble.
To be fair on the brakes, I kind of knew they would be trouble, but just didn't get time to sort before the event, so I'm on it now! Won't happen again !!
we are doing santa pod and rockingham next
Hope the beemers running well .......

Re: Donington Park - Some Pics
Nice pics, I have the same colour and just purchased a private plate (5 letters) what size plates are you using on the back and front and how is your front attached as the existing number plate holder is quite large? would appreciate any advice regarding the front??
Re: Donington Park - Some Pics
You can take the holder off and screw the plate to the grill via the existing fixings for the holder which is what I have done. I would prefer a backing plate and fix without screws which is what another member did on here but I am pretty crap at DIY so screws it is for me. Im sure you can cut down the existing holder or screw a thin piece of plastic to the existing mounts and use adhesive pads but to be hones the screws dont look too bad.Daz B wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 8:04 pmNice pics, I have the same colour and just purchased a private plate (5 letters) what size plates are you using on the back and front and how is your front attached as the existing number plate holder is quite large? would appreciate any advice regarding the front??
