I'm a bell
I'm a bell
Managed to reverse into a tiny wall and scraped the rear bumper thing.
Any ideas what this might cost to put right and who to use:

Re: I'm a bell
Doesnt look too bad, I would have thought 250-300 for a good job, where are you based?
Re: I'm a bell
Yes had mine done for £250 ish from memory through a proper repairer. Might get away with a Chips Away type repair for £100 ish.

Re: I'm a bell
I would stay away from chips away with that colour, just my personal opinion
Re: I'm a bell
Damn, most of that will polish out, the small dent in the plastic won't of course. A smart repairer will do the best job, pick and good recommended interdependent if you have one in your area, better quality work and better service than a Chips Away.

Re: I'm a bell
I had revive do smart repairs in the past, very good. Problem is the job will only be as good as your local fitter so ask around locally. The training and quality is all down to the person doing the job.

Re: I'm a bell
Thanks
I was distracted by my fuel cap thing being slightly open when I walked to the car that morning. Was still thinking about it when *scrape*.
The missus shot me a 'are you a fkin idiot glance' and I realised the reversing sensors were probably screaming at me too. Weird day.
Was so annoyed with myself!
I'm like the littlest hobo but currently based near Bridgend.
I aint had a chance to have it looked at so far but really hoping to get it booked in somewhere reputable next week.
Any pointers much appreciated

Re: I'm a bell
Finally got this sorted!
Your estimates were very close. Paid 234~ with the local Audi paintshop.
To my untrained eye, looks great. In and out same day, very happy
