With number 4, leave the lights on auto but double flick the stork so that it turns HBA off but leaves the lights on high beam. A bit of a pain but better than HBA.

AC sync is an old feature, used to be hold the Auto buttons on previous Audi's, been using this one for years.

Auto lights off will stop the coming home and welcome lights working.

Wing mirrors have a clean position, pull them the opposite way and there is a notch, they look odd but they drain and the backs are facing up for easier cleaning, the point of the notched setting is to help the drain when being flooded by water.

Mirror switch in left position (UK) when selecting reverse will dip the left mirror to the rear wheel to monitor the curb, if you have memory seats you can tweak the dipped position from the default to a custom location, again if you park in tight spot you can tweak for a hazard that you want to keep an eye on.

There are few other little items, I'll post a few more when I remember them.
Some good stuff there, particularly the mirror drainage. I'll certainly be trying that one out, as water running down the door after towel drying the car, is another annoying little thing.

Another point I forgot, as I use the double sided boot cover instead - The standard boot floor can be flipped it over to have a recessed floor which is wipe clean. Good for liquid items which have a risk of spillage or muddy things, this saves you from messing up the carpet side to the boot floor.

Also does sunroof if fitted, can be turned on and off in MMI. Its designed to let heat out a hot car rapidly.

You can imitate rain with a watering can or spray onto the sensor on the windscreen without risking getting your interior wet.

Audi don't support or fit this feature, VW only. Fingers crossed they change that.

Found another today. Cars with advanced key can utilse the door handle sensor to initiate comfort close. Just do a long touch like you would, using the key fob - about 2 seconds.

Handy for when you've got out and left the sunroof/window open and can't be bothered to dive into bags or pockets to get the key.

Discovered by accident a couple of weeks ago on my C7 and may be applicable to the B8 too. Can you lift the wipers off the windscreen in their normal position? I know the 8V and C7 wipers need to be put into the service position to lift them without bashing the bonnet to either change the blades or when washing the car. To do this you have to do through the MMI menu to do it bit I discovered that if you turn the engine off then flick the windscreen stalk down to the single wipe position it will put the wipers in the service position.

If you set total opening through the MMi it'll open all the windows as well during a continuous hold of the touch pad. I used to use it in the summer to let the heat out before getting in to burn my ass.

Can lift the wipers enough to get a cloth under them
but otherwise have to put them in service position to give the glass a good polish or change blades.

Thanks Mike, that little wiper tip works a treat. As does Geoffdunk's one about folding the mirrors the other way to drain them of water. All came in handy this afternoon when giving the car a clean.

Eddie, that comfort opening doesn't work from the door handle, Closing does, but opening doesn't?
