RS4 B8 Front standard Brake Pads

I got quoted over £400 recently from local Audi dealer to change front pads as 90% worn... Also said discs needed replacing after only 14k miles as apparently have a lip on them (which they don't!).
Ended up buying some OEM Brembo front pads and sensor (part code 8T0698151B) from Carlisle Audi for £200 and got my local Audi Indy to fit them for £30. Big difference between £400+ and the £230 it's actually cost me...!

£230 is very good!

I did it in the end for £389 (front brake pads only). They also cleaned and delivered the car to my home 15miles away. Done 30kmiles with same discs.

I've queried my brakes on here before when I was told by audi both front pads and discs should be renewed at 11,000 miles despite the warning light not being on?

Discs and pads at 11,000 miles?! Only if you have the mechanical sympathy of James Hunt, or your commute to work includes the Nordschleife!!

Resurrecting this thread as i need new front pads. Audi want £389 plus fitting . I use my car for road use only, can anybody point me to a decent set of aftermarket pads?

My 2015 is 50k miles in , still on original disks and 2nd set of pads. Pads were £260 via TPS for OEM fronts and still on original rear pads. All disk are still within wear tolerance but I reckon it will need new front disks by the time the pads need changing again.
