Warrington Audi, they price matched black circles too which surprised me. Supplying my own oil as well so that made a difference (50 quid vs. the 190 they wanted!)

Plus they are providing breakfast at frankie and bennys next door whilst I wait!

This is interesting. I'm booked in a Warrington Audi next week for the first service and when I mentioned bringing my own oil they said they would price match the oil as long as it was the same grade.

That's good to know for future. To be honest I didn't even ask them to price match the oil, but will do next time. Did they stipulate it had to be from within 20 miles or anything like that?

Service all done today anyhow, a positive experience and a free breakfast also! New Michelin tyres fitted, I know they are brand new but they feel better than the pirellis already (or maybe just subliminal!)

Ipswich responded with £308 for oil change without inspection. £360 with inspection.

To be honest I cant remember but after seeing how cheap the ebay oil was I bought some yesterday to ensure they couldn't wriggle out of it.

9.7 litres was on the Audi quote, so you will be fine with 10 litres

Even with 10 litres, filters, disposal, an hour labour? - over £300 is pretty high.

Oil prices have come down. Wondering if the rate is similar for all Audi cars? I don't remember paying so much for my BMW 335d in the past. The Castrol edge 5w 30 (VW 504 00/ 507 00) is used by many models including the common diesel cars. 10 litres is £84 on amazon.

Had my 1 year oil change service done by Victoria Audi this week. They specified 0W30 oil so I bought 2x5l of Castrol Edge Titanium from a German site for about £75 delivered and was charged £230 for labour, filter etc so just over £300 vs their quote of £380ish

Just completed the oil service today in Ipswich. £299.40 in total. This cost included 9.7 litres of new shell oil, filter, washer, antifreeze, full inspection & test drive of car after new oil to make sure all is well. Car cleaned inside and out. It took them about 2 hours.

First oil-change service for me last month was a shade under £300 at Jack Barclay.
Service was excellent - couldn't fault them.

And will only take you a full days labour to repair the marring and swirls they'll have put in your paint I never let them clean my cars.
