Winter tyres

I have 4 winter tyres left over from my B7. Can anyone tell me if I sourced a set of B7 wheels will B7 19s fit the B8 ? Or should I just sell the 19" winter tyres and buy 20" ones for my B8.

The tyres may fit, but the wheels won't (different centre bore). See if you can get a set of B8 19" winter wheels to use your existing tyres, otherwise, like you say it may be a better option to just buy a set of winters for your current 20" B8 wheels.

In general it's a "good thing" to have winter wheels that are smaller (with deeper profile tyres) than summer. If you can of course.
My S8 has 20's in summer and 18's in winter; the runabout has 16's in summer and 15's in winter.
