Applying a (nano)coating, as opposed to a wax/sealant is the way to go to reduce marring, swirls on these colours; mine (and previous black B7) wears Sonax Nano Paint Protection & Sonax PNS (aka ProfiLine Polymer Net Shield) and very low maintenance

Yep, as much as I loved having a black RS4, THAT colour is a PITA, I was never happy with it although it always looked the nuts from a distance.

Blue seems to be a lot better at not showing the scratches.
Doesn't seem to matter what colour it is they all swirl in the end you just have to look after it.

How easy is this to apply Steve, do I need to remove all previous waxes, sealants etc first?

Can it go wrong? :beerchug:

At risk of being flamed for being off topic, I will keep it very brief.... It 'can' be tricky if you havent done that sort of thing before (ideally applied inside), yes needs to be applied to bare paint to bond; if your not confident, not done that sort of thing before I would recommend using a pro detailer to apply a 'protection detail' or 'correct & protect detail' as its all in the prep and application and idealy applied to freshly corrected paint. Sadly I cannot offer my services as have gone into retirement, but speak to Russ of Relectology on here and sure he would be more than willing to offer advice (depending on locality, I know detailers I can vouch for if anybody wants to PM me)
