2 weeks old and ****ing scratched
2 weeks old and ****ing scratched
Picked up my new RS4 just over 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately a few days ago because of somebody's incompetence
it has ended up with scratches on the drivers door. I'm not sure whether the better option is to have the scratches polished out - if possible or just go straight to having it sprayed. I've posted in the car care section as I'm interested in peoples views on this although it is perhaps hard to tell the depth of scratch from the photos.

2 weeks old and ****ing scratched
I was washing my car and discovered this.....OP, don't let a few scratches spoil the fun.....I discovered scratches on the lowest part of the front bumper in the first week.....I reckon I missed them on collection as can't understand how they happened. I don't notice them now. Anyway some c*** did this during this week as wasn't there last weekend...hard to capture but you'll get the gist.

Luckily there's no scratch in the middle, it was rubber or plastic as it rubbed out.RIV wrote:That door dent will be easy to get rid of,had one on my b7 done, you just couldn't see a thing after

That dent will pull out.
I had one on the roof of my B7 that looked massive, and a guy came round with what looked like a tube of glue and a pull hammer, and pulled it out in about 20mins
Re the OP pic on the other thread ; it's tough to tell whether it'll polish out from the pic, but you want to polish your arse off before you start thinking about resprays as the Audi Metallic paints are always really tough to match
Try T-cutting it initially and see how it ends up before going near a paint Shop
