Surely the ships are unloaded pretty quickly as they have a schedule to keep. Is there a shortage of car transporters?

Dealer informed me my car is still at port. It's part of the JCT600 group and according to the administrator I spoke too they have 140+ cars own there own which are still in the port. Seems to be a chronic delay for whatever reason.

So my brother finally has an update from his dealer. The backlogs are being cleared and they are apparantly now 100% sure that it's scheduled to leave the port in the next week, meaning he can pick it up a week Sunday.

I told him not to get too excited just yet!

Just over two weeks since my RS4 arrived into port and it's still there.

Dealers tells me that all these delays have been made worse as some cars have been put into overflow parks, so cars are all over the place, I get the impression that there are starting to get control of the situation and that Audi are starting to make more effort to get cars out. They are working on a 10 working day lead time to get cars out of the port.

A breakthrough! Will be collected from port on Monday and penciled in delivery to moi on Wednesday. Excitement starting to build!

Got the Reg number and the Wednesday delivery is confirmed. It's going to be a long 6 days!!!
