What about the 22b. The resemblance is uncanny but Subaru probably nicked the idea of the original Quattro. I remember the first time I saw a 22b on the road, I nearly crashed. I was two years into a 3 year contract on a 323i coupe and it was at that point I knew I'd have to one of these huge winged rally reps. I tried to get out of the contract but I couldn't so I had to wait until 2001. Just in time for a P1 which is still the tops the list of best cars I've owned.

22B....ahhh yesss.

Now they're some arches....no abs, no traction control or airbags and up to 85% rear wheel drive at the flick of a switch.

Wish I had took mine to the Ring as it would've been epic!

The box type arches were earlier than the original Quattro. First use I remember was the Zakspeed Capris and Escorts in the 70s.

Im into the squared old school fender ''look''. Round fenders are nice, but what we have with our B8's is rare.
