Well I can say that the RS4 roof bars fit much better than the hatched job for the RS5!

I used the Thule Aero bars for my RS4 (I still have them in my garage for the next one), but I agree about the RS5 ones, I have what appears to be the same Audi ones as you have in your pic, and they're not overly stable. With my Downhill bike on it, but wobbles around all over the place due to the flex in the grippers on the car. Then again, it's a coupe, and most other Coupe manufacturers don't even offer a roof rack option
