sounds a little too loud for waitrose carpark for my liking :)
M5 sounds awesome though, that engine is a masterpiece - just a shame they got the rest of the E60 M5 so wrong

Both cars sound class, but as I'm on the waiting list for an RS4 I just love that HMS on the B8.

If this didn't void a warranty I would definitely have one. Unfortunately as the warranty means a lot to me I'm stuck with the sports exhaust ! LOL. Would love to see a clip of it down a road as they can sound a little different when not on a rolling road.

Ermmm..... Personally, i think they are too high pitched for my liking.... i prefer a deeper throaty growl even at high revs....

Is it just me, or does the M5 sound like the Crazy Frog????

Big fan of Capristo for sure! Loads of debate on HMS/Kliene/Capristo on the RS5s and either are epic! The DPs I had made locally are from an HMS design as the guys locally produces for the HMS a few pieces,

so I have a fondness for HMS

Capristo stuff is very good. Both the Dave's from here had Capristo's on their V10 R8's and the sound was superb. IMHO a big step up over the equivalent Miltek V10 R8 sound (Although that was still very decent), but then that's reflected in the price. Akrapovic is another cost step again, but really good quality bits of kit

Capristo IMO rule the waves

The RS 5 capristo far exceeds the Milltek...but pricey ...

From all that I have seen, heard & read, the Capristo seems to be the best deal. I've only heard 2 Millteks on a B8 & they didn't really do much for me. As for the Akrapovic, if I could warrant the cost, I'd still struggle to get past their exit pipes. I know they're merely cosmetic, but I really don't like them. So, within the next 6-8 weeks, Capristo it will be.

:biggrin2:

How slick is the gear change on the B8, and how much power does the M5 seem to put down wow to both
