hi guys id like to say hello,i bought my rs4 b8 a few weeks ago its nimbus grey with blackpack, buckets etc
and i must say i absolutely think its the dogs bollocks,i traded my 2010 rs6 plus and my jeep srt8 in for it,i must say i was slightly worried at going from the rs6 down to a 4,but i couldnt be any happier with the handling and feel of the 4 in comparison to the 6 even though i miss the room slightly but thats all
haven been into modern muscle ie challenger srt8`s,camaros,vxr8`s the rs4 feels simlilar to these but miles ahead in quality
anyway thats enough for now
cheers jimmie ,scotland

Get some pics up Jimmie,
I had a look at a Nimbus Grey TT, didn't realise it had a flake in the finish, looks nice.

Hi Jimmie, I had a VXR8 before my B8 RS4 and love the RS. The VXR8 had more torque but the handling, grip, revs and build quality of the RS makes the VXR seem agricultural by comparison. Welcome to the club! Was the SRT8 jeep a 5 speed or 8 speed? I also had the 5 speed and was deciding between the new 8 speed and the RS4, kind of like comparing a machete vs a scalpel. Needless to say the scalpel won!

My srt8 was the 5 speed but like you I considered the new model with the 6.4 hemi and eight speed ,I believe it's quite a machine but I prefer the look of the older model,I had two vxr8's and must admit value for money couldn't be touched1199Panigale wrote:Hi Jimmie, I had a VXR8 before my B8 RS4 and love the RS. I actually bought my first one an ls3 6.2 auto brand new in 2009 for 25k how's that for value, even better again an mgztv8 260 in 2006 new for 16.5k that was a great car for the money and rarity over the years I had four pass through my hands
Cheers Jimmie biggam

25k for the 6.2 LS3, were they subsidising them over there? The same wagon now is the equivalent of ukp50k
