To add some balance to this discussion, I was told by my local Audi dealer that they are increasingly seeing warranty claims being rejected due to other modifications (including exhausts)
I can understand their logic as any exhaust that claims increased power is effectively altering the back pressure of the engine, and as such, gives the warranty company, who are already are looking for any way out, a good reason to reject it

Understandable, Audi can't warrant something that they didn't supply. There's a lot of friendly dealers out there who assist. As more telemetry is gathered from newer cars I can only see this going one way.
