It has arrived - Post PDI pictures (still factory wrapped)

Here it is, a few photos taken this morning of my new RS4 in the PDI centre. All shipping wrappings are still intact. The vehicle is now undergoing it's Gtechniq coatings and I will take delivery tomorrow evening (photos of handover day to follow).

To my surprise the full size spare wheel does not sit in a recessed wheel well. Looks like that will have to find a space in the house!

Yeah the last of the A4 sized variants to have a full size spare was the B7 S4. Your 2008 RS4 didn't have a full sized spare. The 2008- B8 chassis variants all came with space savers. Means the boot floor is slightly lower, the overall load area height is actually slightly taller, but the lower floor means it no longer sits flush with the boot lip. Can't have everything! The way the tool kit is built into the rear third of the floor is quite natty

"Spare wheel with full-size tyre, alloy" is part of the standard specification here in Dubai.
