this.

cars are a machine. you use them.
so i'd much rather pay for that use, rather than the whole car. interest cost is the premium you pay for that please.
he beauty of such arrangements is you can PCP a car up to 4yrs old.
PCP a 3yr R8 and they dont depreciate, so all you are paying is Interest.
PCP a brand new RS 4 and you are paying depreciation + Interest

ergo, cost to run a 3yr old R8 V10 on PCP or brand new RS 4 on PCP is more or less the same, if not cheaper for the R8 V10.
One of the reasons I sacked off my brand new S5 for a used RS 5.

This offer from Audi has been extended into the next quarter, from my own experience make sure anyone contacts Andrew Maund/Tristan Bailey at Kings Lynn Audi as they've beaten every other quote i received :beerchug:

I've ordered and have a build week of 45. Took advantage of the PCP offer and got 8% on top so not bad. Also I limited my miles to 5K and got the maintenance pack for 70 quid inc. Both of these can be adjusted afterward if necessary.
Spec is daytona,B&O, Roof, Heated seats, Convenience pack, Parking advanced, Hill hold.
The PCP can be paid off early so not sure what some of the above comments mean, or hand back in 3 yrs with guaranteed residual of over 28K. Not bad.
Quite simply cant understand why anyone would buy a used or near new S4 over the rs - the figures on a used s4 avant worked out more expensive (on the deposit) by 4K !!
Think my total disc is about 8.5K which i am happy with.
B8 RS4 - Daytona, Privacy Glass, Convenience pack, B&O, Pan roof, Parking advanced,Hill Hold, Heated seats.
Audi Q7 Sline plus - Daytona, Tech Pack hi, Storage pack/Towing equip.

Was playing on the config the other day - hence my post asking if anyone has driven one *not* on DRC.

Personally I think the non Sports Pack cars do have appeal - 19s are a very wise choice imo on UK roads and you don't get the debatable Dynamic steering. Instead of the disappointingly quiet Audi Sports exhaust I'd chose a non-resonated Milltek (which you can then sell privately when you sell the car)

having read multiple reviews the consensus seems to be avoid the dynamic steering plus i have driven both (one a cab tho).. you still get the suspension/gearbox tweaks if i ever need to..
for me I wanted a sensible spec and actually want the 19's over the 20's, quieter exhaust is ok too as I do need to occasionally use this car for a longish commute to MK.
I have a 2012 Q7 sline plus that I have grown used too so 'edgy' performance is not what i want right now!
My C4S had the full sports kit (PASM) and sports exhaust, used it 'on' about 3 or 4 times only!

My b7 RS had the recaro comfort seats and at the risk of getting flamed i loved them! , so no buckets for me either.

I see that Broadspeed are now quoting a base purchase price of £43,862, so that's a £11,663 discount.

Very tempting and will more than cover a healthy chunck of options. Would even think about adding 'ramics at those discount levels.

Can't help thinking that this is too good a deal to miss.

Decisions, decisions!!!!
RS4 Avant, Phantom Black, SS+, Tech Pack + TV, Homelink, Heated F&R Seats, Auto Dim etc.

996 C4S, Basalt Black

TT 225 Coupe, Raven Black (the wifes!!!), S5 in Phanton Black from 1/9

£43.8k is a bargain for a brand new RS4!

I paid £40k for a yellow RS 5 FFS! Used!

I've never seen a B8 RS4 advertised second hand for less than that.

I'd want a bare minimum of Pearl Paint, Black Optics, B&O, 6CD - but even so it would *still* be cheaper than the cheapest Audi Approved (presently 47k)

Unless I'm very much mistaken, for the first time on an S or RS model, you can option ceramics on the smaller wheel option. Now *that* would be cool. However, even I'll admit you'd have to be insane to go for a base car like above plus ceramics rather than spending your 4k on the Sports Pack and Nappa Buckets instead.

Broadspeed only show the last deal they have done.

The discount could be for a cancelled order that a dealer needed to shift and might not be the discount they can achieve on a new car. I quizzed my dealer about their discount after I had placed my order (which had a great discount anyway) and they called BS and established that I would only get £400 more of a discount by going through them, when their website at the time indicated a £3,500 extra discount. BS are a great company, but discussing their advertised figures as set in stone is not going to help. The only way of knowing is by calling. You should be able to get between £8-£10k with the finance contribution.
