I'm in a constant battle to keep my VSpokes clean. The car, being Suzuka, is a piece of cake as it doesn't really show watermarks. The wheel, however, have loads of bits to get the sponge into with tight little radius corners that the dust builds up in
I had the rotors on Audu Swindons RS4 demo that I had for about a week in total and cleaning those wheels was a joy
Fwiw, the easiest wheels I've ever owned for cleaning were a few years back on a mk5 golf gti i had with the almost flat axe blade wheels

...pics taken this morning after 60mile trip to collect the papers ;-)

Like the alcantara-suede option PID; like the spec generally come to that.

Or practice cleaning the R8 wheels when they next give you custody?!

Looks great, enjoy...!

In my opinion, there are different types of people who look for different specs here especially colour.
Not looking to offend but I would only personally ever go for dark metallic (i may push to sepang) but one of the main things i like about the B8 is its ability to blend into the environment well and still be special without being bright yellow and in your face!.
I use mine to go to client sites etc and I used to get a lot of wise cracks when I ran the 997 C4 S.. Its nice to blend back sometimes .

For me, Daytona just 'works' and will always look great/wont go 'out of favor'..

I would agree if it were a DD
But mine wouldn't be

DK, an honest question, if not a DD, not as polished as a B7 and you have an R8, why? There are plenty of other alternatives.

My B8 decision was a compromise. If it wasn't my DD it would be a Porsche 997/981. I also believe it will be the last V8 I'll own as the Eco-warriors seem to be winning.....see BMW M.

A few years ago I got into a spat with the tax man who would not believe that I used my Boxster S as a DD for work, he said "a car like that is what you use to drive to the coast at the weekend...a Ford Mondeo is what you use for work".

I look forward to my first 6 months.

Yes, that's why I've not ordered yet

R8 is being sold to fund house purchase

Either B8 via Audi UK finance offer
Or sorted B7
Or Porka Cayman
Or R8 V8 if I can find a special one that isn't black or silver

Not in any rush, need to sell the V10 Spyder first!

Have driven 981 Boxster and Cayman (pdk and manual respectively) Both very rewarding to drive. PDK is the nuts...proper manual automatic if you know what I mean....changes are instant and noise is awesome.

Blimey, that's good
Not driven a golf R, but I had one of the first DSG mk5 golf gti's a few years back and that was a really decent car
