Invite for preview drive

So glad I read this thread... secured an invite and now booked at Oulton Park next week. When I booked online for the am/pm session choice it did show there were still a few (3-4) places left at most days. May have all gone now though.

Miss my B7 RS4 badly so be good to see if the B8 can measure up and persuade me to order another one. Worried about the DSG box though...I'd always preferred manuals and three pedals.

It's also a shame that the RS model always comes right at the end of an A4 platforms lifespan. Makes it look old quite quickly when the new shape comes out so soon. Didn't seem to have too much impact on residuals last time though so maybe not so much to worry about.

Does anyone know roughly what these things entail ? I've had the schedule through which says we get a drive on the road and the track, but has anyone been on these things before to know what to expect ?

I was hoping to be able to try a few configurations out, ie with and without the sports steering, DRC or 19" wheels etc

I did see there was a strict 'no cameras' rule, but I, sure we can sneak a few pics

Im going to Oulton Park this Saturday for the pm session.
I have just sold my RS4 B7 and was planning on this as a final farewell drive. Alas not to be, the car is now being picked up on Friday

now im in a hire car - joy!

Just arrived at a foggy Oulton Park so will post later. About 20 cars mix of RS4 and R8 in variety of specs and colours.

The instructions for the millbrook event say no cameras allowed but I wonder if that is more a venue rule than an Audi one

I know at millbrook its the venue rule, but they're stricter with it in some areas more than others
