Production Run

Does anyone know if the B8 will be a time limited run or continued production as they still seem to be produceing the RS5 and TTRS

Normally an RS model is released somewhere towards the end of the current model's life - certainly not before the third quarter of the model lifecycle,

It's a halo model, launched to help create more sales of the "lesser" B8 models, & create a feelgood factor for enthusiasts AND Audi.

As several other threads have alluded to, how often do you see RS-spec wheels on a boggo TDi?

I'd guesstimate that the B9 Avant cannot now be more than two years away?

Having said that, most of us probably still prefer the B7 Avant shape at the moment, although I personally find the B8 RS Avant stunning in the correct colour
- what that colour is, I'm currently undecided.

I would think if they had 50,000 orders then Audi would happily manufacture them.

I would reckon on a realistic production run of +/-10,000 for the worldwide market - so not exactly exclusive.
