I think Audi may have cocked up with the powertrain. The rival cars will all come with FI engines and the V8 will feel inadequate in comparison. Why have they not gone for the blown V8 to be fitted to the S6 & S8?

I think thats the general feeling.
I can also see the new RS4 struggling against some of the competition.
It's going to be more expensive, slower, more thirsty and higher tax band.

not being funny, but today Audi AG released its numbers for 2011 ... record sales, record profits (4.4bn Euro's) ... somehow the success or not of the B8 RS 4 will not really harm its future success .... im sure it will sell OK

Yup on whole they are fantastic motors,on here we focus on the RS versions mainly and its only a small portion of there bussiness,im fairly confident i will end up in a b8 RS4 but id hoped for more power and at least the same dynamics, someone needs to make a few calls to the old suspension designers and make them an offer they cant refuse!!

I am sure it will shift. The question most on this forum are asking is will it be any good compared to the B7 and its competitors? Will it be a significant step up from the B8 S4 as the B7 was from the B6/7 S4?
