Fuel Tank Sender Unit

I appologise as its not an S8 question but an A8 4.2 question
Got a loose fuel sender unit.
where do I get the tool (or another method) of tightening up the fuel tank sender unit. Tried to make something but cant get enough purchase to tighten it fully. Also how far apart should the alignment arrows be apart when its tightened properly.
