Went into a dealer yesterday with a mind to order an RS4 to replace the RS6 when the warranty expires and was offered the deal of a lifetime, which I couldn't say no to, and ended up ordering a new S8. Roll on June!

What spec did you go for?

Daytona with light grey/black leather and carbon/brushed alluminium trim. Didn't want the Bang and Awesome as if its anything like the RS6 the only music I'll listen to will be the engine. Sadly, pennies won't stretch to the ceramic brakes either, but I'm not intending to take it on a track, so that probably won't matter. Virtually everything else in the A8 options bin, apart from the self-closing doors, is standard fit.
