How well do A8s handle miles

Actually drive an RS4 but a friend needs a large motor fast and I thought an A8 would be a nice upgrade to recently pinched A6!
Due to insurance payout it'll have to be a pretty miley one so wonder if anyone is running an A8 already over the 100K miles mark and what if anything to look out for.
Probably go for a sport as we both have back problems and my RS Recaros are superb, with 3.7 engine preferable for insurance cost.
