S8 BHP

Post by W8PMC » Wed Apr 07, 2004 6:21 pm

Surely title of this room should be S8 340/360BHP, as the post 2000 S8's were given 40 valve engines & a power boost from 340 - 360BHP.

Just traded my 2002 S8 S-Line for a 2003 RS6 Saloon :D

Because of this thread I went and bought one for some nostalgia. Its a great thing indeed and years ahead of itself.

Massive value for money if your prepared to spend some time and money making it perfect.

Cheers

Revival again. Indeed, those were the days, everything got far more complicated after those cars.

Mine was bulletproof too & being the Anniversary Edition was fairly well spec'd.

Sounded lush with the Miltek on it

Saw one up for sale on a cleaning companies forecourt yesterday, they really are insane value for how much car they are. Oddly enough being drawn into keeping my eye out for the new D5's due to be launched any week now.

Saw some test S8s last week, along with the new Q8.

Love the full width led brake lights.

Biggest, excuse the pun, thing you will see is the gigantic size these new cars are!

Could the front wheels be any further forward? Bustastic.
