24 hrs & counting

Post by geek » Thu Nov 01, 2012 5:30 pm

Afternoon all,

Been reading the forum for some time, it has helped me navigate the process of buying an RS and made it much less painful.....cheers!

Picking up my Suzuka Grey car this time tomorrow afternoon :beerchug: . I just picked the registration and sorted the driveaway insurance :jump_clap:

My preference has always been M, I have come (two cars back) from an e93 M3 which in turn replaced an e61 M5. My experience of RS's has been limited to test pilot activity in the past.....I did have one of the very first V8 :s4addict: when I was a younger chap but didn't get along with it, this is my first time back to Audi in 11 years.

It is going to be a looooooong 24hrs

A few pics pre PDI last weekend:

Good choice, not that I am biased. See you have roof bars, what options did you tick?

Was pretty restrained. Just added Bose, Rain sensor, Light Pack, Roof Rails, Folding Mirrors, Bluetooth Low & Cruise.

Suzuka in the metal is outstanding, that was my main priority tbh over everything else. I had seen it once on a C6 RS6 which was caked in a good layer of winter road film and it just looked right; I have wanted the colour ever since.....never owned anything this light before, always been blue, black, grey or silver in a million different shades.

Can't wait!

Agreed, this is my first light coloured car too and it works. Hope you enjoy tomorrow.

Nice choice.
I thought about Suzuka. It had to grey but I went for Daytona as it maches the wheels.
Spec is pretty close mine and IMHO they need roof bars.
