Waiting patiently for delivery on Tuesday I'm left thinking about silly things ;)

What is the max card size for the SD? My RS4 was very picky and only 2gb, what's everyone doing in their RS?

Ta!

Really? That's rubbish isn't it! Thought we had moved on from the crappy RNS-e in my RS4 and was looking forward to putting my whole music collection on two 32gb cards

I have an iPhone 4s but have heard that it doesn't work very well with the AMI or whatever it's called?

I suppose I could get a cheap classic iPod and shove it in the glove?

I've not had any issues with my iPhone. But standard iPod is just the job.

If the RNS-E has a button marked "MEDIA" then what you have is the updated 2010+ RNS-E, which can take both SD and SDHC cards - so you can use 32GB SDHC cards - but NOT larger SDXC cards (I've tried a 64GB one and it doesn't work).

It's basically a brand new car so I'd hope so ;)

Thanks for the info, I'll order a 32gb card now :)

What's the best way to organise music? I use iTunes, so basically drag all the artist folders over or the playlists?

Watch for hidden files (tell Windows to show ALL files in Explorer).

I put playlist files (.m3u) into the root folder, and organise the music into folders by Artist with sub-folders by Album.

Works for me as I can choose whether to use a playlist or play by album.
