Am I mad not to consider the RS3?

Well, I've moved on from the RS4 and really don't know where tO go next!
I've thought RS5, C63, 911 Turbo, M3 but never thought about the RS3!
I like the idea of the practicality of it, the price seems high though, what are the thoughts on depreciation?
Anybody switched to one of these from an RS4?
Any info on these appreciated lads

Go for a 911 turbo...
All depends though if you have any kids? If you have kids then the so called "space" behind the seats of the 911 turbo is appauling...
RS5 excuse my language p1sses me off becuase it doesnt come with a flat bottom steering... The round boring steering from an a3

RS5 came with flat bottom from facelift. Keep up at the back.

I have a 3 year old
Fair play to the guy he let me put the seat in the back but it was just too cramped, I'd feel sorry for Macy every journey.
When she's big enough for a booster it will be a different story!!!

I have 3 kids. All in boosters but we all fit in the RS3 no worries. I also have a C5 RS6 and it's so much bigger in the boot but the space inside the RS3 is surprisingly spacious.
It is really fun to drive too.
I think you should consider it.

depreciation so far has been rock solid, glasses are showing an RS5 will dump in 12 months what an RS3 does in 4-5 years, a year old with 12k miles they are showing at 34-35k
long term the official 31mpg and 245 tax disc will be a big help in keeping prices up
i am waiting for the 600bhp apr stage 3 kit

They are growing on me, just need to drive one!
Prices seem all over the place though? £36k for one with 5k miles and then £39k for one with 11k miles?!?!
What are the essential extras on these? Best colour? I love Daytona!

Go for the 911 Turbo, it's in a different league.

I went for Daytona with Black optics and love it. Just over a year now and still love it. If anything it's even faster now that it's run in and economy is fantastic considering.
I went for buckets and love them. For me they were a must as the cabin is pretty basic and they really make it look special.
Bose is essential but the rest are just personal taste.

What leaps to my mind is that the RS3 is almost half the price (or less) of the other cars you mention above. It is highly practice, very fast and really quite efficient.
I'm still learning my car, and I grow to love it more every day.
