"S-Button" & suspension characteristics

Hey guys,
I m from Poland and in 3months will collect my new daytona grey RS3 :beerchug:

We don't really have a forum about RS3 in here..
I saw that RS246 is quite Profi, so that's why I joined it
Hope you don't mind...

My question is:
What options does the standard "S Button" contain?
- Throttle response
- Exhaust sound

Does it change the suspension characteristics?

I m asking because our roads are quite terrible and I don't know if a 19-inch wheel is a good choice

Kind regards,
Nicholas

The suspension is not adjustable, it's standard coils and the ride is firm. Bad roads won't be fun.

Your welcome here

Rule 1 FON :)

The ride on the RS3 is remarkably good for such a well setup car, rides far better than the S3 IMO

Button - defiantly opens the exhaust port and stiffens the steering, throttle response probably, I think the gearbox seams more aggressive as well, often clunks on gear changes

I agree with doodlebug - the ride on the RS3 is very firm and poorly surfaced roads are not a pleasant experience.
Personally, I think the suspension has been set too firm for the sorts of roads we have in the UK.
