Why no 3Dr

Anybody wonder why they don't do a RS3 3dr???

I think it would look awesome

i suspect its so it does not step on the toes of the TT, i assume that's the same reason why its duel clutch only, the RS4 is like wise going to be 5 dr and avant only (i suspect so it wont affect RS5 sales)

it could possibly be so to keep the complexity to a minimum, they are pulled of production line and have a lot of production done to them at a different factory


personally i am glad its 5 door and duel clutch as that's what i want :biggrin2:

RS's should be avants anyway ;)

IMHO bodies should be like this
2Dr Coupe
3Dr Hatch
4Dr Saloon
5Dr Estate

so why have 5dr hatch's when 5dr estates look so much better just my opinion

I think the A3 Sportback is pretty close to the same shape as an Avant, just scaled to the length of the car.

Personally I don't think RS models look good as anything but an Avant. Full Stop.

(lights blue touch paper and retreats to a safe distance…)
