Well I have been able to track down that engine rattle I get in heavy traffic when its hot, this is cold start ...
I dipped the engine, i filled it 400 miles ago and its lost half a litre ...

i need to contact someone at audi uk who can actually get stuff sorted ..

Too right I'd speak to them, back 6 times to not be fixed and sounding like that I'd refuse the car and push for a replacement.

If they don't come up with a solution you could contact the Audi UK MD, Martin Sander at
martin.sander@audi.co.uk

the worst thing is i have been ultra careful with it, i have kept it off boost until the oil temp is at least 60 and hard throttle until its at 90+

This made me go and check my oil tonight. About 3/4 between the min and max levels so hopefully seems ok.
That is 7 months and over 7,000 miles.
No one like to come forward and say I've no issues and that can be the kiss of death but touch wood all good.
The only thing, which has been said before is the cabin is a bit creaky but not to a stupid level.
On another note, I connected up the battery to my RS6 and fired her up tonight for the first time in 3 months. I'm in love again. You just can't beat the noise of a V8!

That's gutting. I hope you get a resolution ASAP.
It does appear that a lot of these cars are Friday afternoon/Sunday hangover specials. That's a big worry. Given the price tag, that's unacceptable, and I think your patience is to be commended. I don't think I would be anywhere near as understanding!
