Recently purchased rs3 in exclusive cherry black. Good power from Low down great torque.

I found a delay when the accelerator is pressed to when you take off. Midrange power was not that great either.

I personally feel the drive train is not upto the task. Spoke to Audi west London their Leeds and reading branch have had an rs3 back with gearbox failure.

Only covered 250 miles in the new car. My company carries out retrofitting for Audi dealerships, I have driven almost every audi and previously had a rs4 cab.

Any thoughts ??

gearbox is fine in the TTRS which is the same car as the RS 3 ?

Sounds like somethings amiss

there is a tiny weeny amount of lag in low revs especially in tall gears, if its awake and especially in S button mode it should be bonkers, gear changes should smash in faster than you can blink

Immediate thought was the RS4 Cab was N/A, this is turbo. Just experiencing lag and not being used to it? Doesn't sound gearbox related to me...
