Hi folks,

I'm due for renewal and Direct Line are taking the mick. Any more suggestions of good companies to try?

Cheers!

Axa seem to accept mods. Did a dummy quote 6 months into my current policy. The current policy has no mods and the dummy one had 4 mods including ECU and the dummy came out £150 cheaper than my current insurance. Odd.

Was that a quote as a new customer? If so, that's your answer.

erm.... Admiral do cover mods. all mods on my RS4 are covered and have been for the last two years as is my RS3. Certainly on a multi-car policy.

Cheers guys, I'll give those a go. For some reason Direct Lone put your premium up for tinted windows. Surely these make your car less likely to be broken in to?

Or maybe someone will break in as they can't see that actually there's nothing for them to steal?
