More being made ??

Had a call from Audi today, saying another batch of RS3's are being made and am I still interested.... (I've since decided I'd rather an RS4 Avant and am looking for preferred spec) ..but surprised by this news... unless some people are backing-out from their orders...?

I'm not surprised. The initial batch sold out pretty quickly so why not make some more if the demand is there?

There are already orders due for delivery well into 2012, my car being one of them. I'd be surprised if the allocation was increased, I suspect there have been cancellations as folk aren't prepared to wait.

Indeed the OP is correct, a handful of extra cars were secured by Audi UK. All sold of course.

Looks like deliveries will continue into Q2, even Q3 2012.

Managed to order mine week ago at build 47 and should be here in Dec or January at the latest.

The RS team at Audi UK tell me summer 2012 for an order placed this week.

Can only tell you what I'm being told!
