I think u nailed the spec 99%, love everything about it. I would like to see a side by side with the ali trim bits on the splitter, rails etc but i recon optics in the flesh must be awesome. YouTube+you= a date!

I am so depressed about the SA order book on these that i am dreaming of the 2012 S3 new spec with a hopefull 5pot, albeit de-tuned to circa 220kw ish. Am I dreaming too hard? Frankfurt show will reveail the new A3 next month i hear. Soemthing close to the concept from March will do. 2nd best to your beast, but what can you do right?

Not going to rush into anything. Insurance and warranty will dictate plus this is a keeper

Saying that I still haven't got rid of the RS6 and in no hurry to sell.

I know what you mean regarding ali trim. I am not sure about Steve but this is the issue I had.

The issue is Audi removed the ali roof bar option and only left the black roof bars option. Also originally you could not combine the Ali Styling Pack with roof rails.
In the end I wanted roof bars and all the trim to match which lead me to the same spec as Steves.

Now that I have seen Steve's pictures I am really please with our choice.

Had an update from my dealer and my car has been brought forward a week to build week 37 (next week).

Do you how long delivery took after build?

Starting to let myself get a little bit excited!!!!!!!

3 weeks maybe can't remember, having too much fun!

I've now had the oppertunity to see the ali pack and black optic pack side by side on 3 RS3s. IMHO black optic pack looks better. This is a a total change in direction from my original thoughts.

I've got my RS3 coming soon, build week 44, so coming up quick, can't wait, the test drive was a few months back and now im missing that beautiful engine note!...Just wondering how long it took for you from the build week starting to get hands on the keys?
