After speaking with Audi York, I'm told they are only making 500?? Anyone else heard this?

500 for this country ? or 500 world wide ??

They said this about the TTRS and they've up'ed production to suit demand. Think they do the same for the RS3 as I'm sure it will be a better seller, with all the toys is 8-10K cheaper

Popped into West London Audi yesterday and was told the same thing by one of the salesmen who (for a change) actually seemed to know what he was talking about. He said that around 350 cars have already been 'sold' but that Audi have said they will probably be extending numbers already due to demand.

I specced one up online and it came to nearly £48K which is more money than I would be prepared to pay for an A3 I'm afraid (plus the Haldex does put me off a bit)! I'd rather go for a 2nd hand RS6 for that sort of money....

The price doesnt stack up for me either... I was thinking about it, but new price is not far off RS4 nearly new money (when I got mine) and I'm not sure the cars are in the same league

well if it is anything like the RSTT it will be a rapid car and with upgraded exhaust and remap will be quicker then a B7 rs4

add a zorst and remap to a b7 and thats faster, and it has the best sound track known to human man, and looks 10000000 better, and handles better ....

suspect its 500 in 2011, but production goes on into 2012

I'm still considering swapping my Rs4 for one...just a pity the Rs3 is not even more understated

yes the rs4 b7 is the better looking and sounding car but im sure the rs3 will handle much much better then the s3 ? will you be taking one for a test drive wnen its available ? then you can do a comparison

I'm with lynchy on this. Will wait 2 to 3 years and then get one 2nd hand. Great car, but overpriced IMO, especially when spec'd

you will be keeping the B5 Virdee ? il have to pop over one night have a look at the finished product mate
