The specs read well but I'm disappointed in the looks. I bet it drives well though.
Looks nothing like the A3 Clubsport and no mention of a saloon!
To me it looks like an A3 with different bumper and grille; not very aggressive. And what's that silver crap running along the roofline? Are they trying to make it look like an Avant with roof rails?
I would have liked wider arches.
Maybe seeing it in a decent colour, black optics, lowered and spaced might make it look better but from those photos I'm disappointed.

At least it has the dual oval RS exhausts now.

What's happened to the styling? Just looks like a pimped A3. For something that's going to be £50k, it's pretty pony. Can't handle any worse than its predecessor though.

Disappointed for sure in looks. Not so keen to lay out 50k anymore.

Wheels are naff. Sure it will look better in the flesh.

First impressions are disappointing. As everybody else says doesn't look much different to an A3 never mind a S3!
Probably will handle better though.

Yeh iPad thing is not the best,The merc is fun to drive though, attracts some fooking idiots unfortunately
Audi need to do more than keep chucking the same engine into the next model, just like the b8 it's just not a big enough step forward, can't see me keeping my Rs more than another year tbh, only trouble is it's so bloody nice to look at

Yep. The club sport was a thing to behold. I had a moment when I saw it at Le Mans. What's on offer as RS3 looks like rinse and repeat, not enough effort for a 50k motor.

I agree with what everyone else says, it just doesn't look special enough
Golf R looks more aggressive than that
Apart from exhausts, just looks like someone's ticked all the s-line options on a boggo A3

I thought a lot would disagree with my opinions but it seems everyone thinks the same.

Why didn't they make it look like the clubsport? Surely they knew they'd be selling faster than they could produce them so why didn't they do it? Too scared and stuck with a safe model? I don't believe anybody at Audi thought this RS3 was a patch on the clubsport for looks and couldn't cost that much more (if anything) to produce (maybe more expensive cos wheels are bigger).
