This car was such an opportunity to tick the boxes where the last failed. It's such a let down.

I've had half an eye on the RS3 as a replacement for my wife's Golf R and my F-Type as I'm finding it increasingly difficult to justify the cost of two cars that barely do 5000 miles per year between them  I do quite like the RS3 but don't think it will do the job of replacing the two cars. Next on my list was an M4, but today I seen and heard the new C63 AMG, its nice, very nice.

I have to say its a potent car for the money at 40k - but pointless specced to 50k - you could have a 64 plate one-owner / pre-reg / demo RS4 with 1000 miles on the clock for that price

Whats absolute minimum spec?
Nardo Grey (£0)
Tech pack (1795)
Super Sports Seats 795
Extended leather 295
Comfort and sound pack (1150)
£44,030

There was me thinking the 'RS3 design pack £895' would consist of Super Sports Seats (795) + Extended mono.pur interior finish (295) bundled into a package..... no, the design pack is £1690 if you want Super Sports!

The nardo with the black pack looks amazing on the configurator. Lets see how long before Audi start doing finance contribution to make it more appealing.

Even with contribution I don't see them being appealing. It's just meh as a product.

I don't regret the C7, it's a very good car. But it'll be my last Audi.

Well I cancelled my deposit and have bought a M4 with a proper gearbox, will give the M4 two years and probably be back in a B9 RS4 then.

So see you lot then :bigwave:
