Saw that the other day and it's the only review I've seen so far where they get the point of the car, and don't slate it for its poor on track performance.
While it's likely I will do 1 or 2 track sessions with the car, it is far from the point of purchasing it. It's a practical on road machine that gets you point to point briskly and with a smile on your face!

It does sound very tasty in that video and makes it quite tempting. But still no saloon version and I still can't get over how it is not butch looking enough.

I quite like the look of that apart from the wheels, it could look a little fatter! But on the whole I don't mind it, does sound great! Nardo looks good on it

Looks wise is all good for me. Just bit too steep but as always if you can stay away from the options lists then it seems very tempting.

Have to disagree about the R420 just being another golf. Have you seen the pics!!? That doesnt looks like another golf to me.

Either way I'm sure who ever has put there deposit down for an RS3 will love it. Just he looooong wait to put up with

The Golf R400 are concepts, I'm pretty sure the production R420 will be somewhat more subdued. I realise it'll be a great car, but it still has golf in the name (unlike the RS3 vs A3 scenario), and it's just not a pairing I can get into!

Funny, Audi and RS3 are not a pairing I can get on with having owned the last one and seen the latest offering. I'd take an RS4 for similar money.
