Take your money, go down the road, buy an A45 AMG :beerchug:

It means you will not have to deal with Audi any longer

and if you read the many horror stories about the CS that merc give you will be most happy :)

from the posts i have read from owners who have had problems their attitude just seams to be "tuff luck" to anything :<beep>_you:

You are correct. I noticed it there too. I sent an email to them advising knowledge of problems and they chose to ignore me. I guess that way when they get a buyer they too can play ignorant to the fact. They have driven the car around for some 1000 odd miles since they prchased from Sytners auction site for £27750. Now it's one of the oldest yet highest priced Rs3s advertised??

Sorry to revive an old post, but just been to view this car on Saturday and was on the verge of purchasing it. Luckily I recognised the reg and thought it was a press car. I decided to google the reg just to see if I could find some pics and came across this thread! Pretty gutted because I was very impressed with the car, what was audis final diagnosis? The gearbox? I didn't get given and extensive test drive so I didn't hear the noise. The garage owner says he's never received an email about the cars faults and assures me there's nothing wrong with the car, seems far too risky for me tbh!

I am now the ? 6th owner and alerted .... after purchase to the problems.
Being a determined sort of chap have decided to sort this out once and for all.
Lots of reading on the known issue of noise OSF wheel noise on left handers....
Changed bearings, control arm bushes....no change.
Finally sorted - its warn out engine mounts!
How could Audi be so stupid.
Classic.
All sorted now.
Happy Days

Welcome to the world of Audi stealers.

OP: hey there's a noise coming from OSF on left-handers.
Stealer: oh, OK, let's replace the rear diff...

Anyways, FON and rule 1. NEOW.
No matter where you go, there you are.
