hi guys

sorry for not uploading earlier...busy, busy of late..

had the main grille painted gloss black to match the outer ones..RS3 logo removed.
audi rings and boot badges done in matt aluminium finish to match the mirrors and splitter etc
drivers footrest fitted...easy peasy but nice addition

Bucket seats make a massive difference, driving style immediately changes and having a bit of McLaren on your bum always helps, jeez these seats are niiice
;)

subframes to suit were a bitch to make up but we got there...Recaro ones wouldnt work as we wanted to be as low as possible and macca seats must be offset in MP4 12c carbon tub as putting them in centre of new subframe makes them sit way off.

R8 paddles have a lovely "click" to them too and look the business I think...thanks to Brooner for these
:kissmyrings:

Next new wheels and tyres then hopefully our friends at Bilstein will have our bespoke kit ready for the handling mods to start!
Std conti's are noisy and not suited to this chassis IMO and std rims are always a no, no in my lin eof work anyway.

here's a few images to tie you over but more going onto facebook each day...

Hope youre enjoying the the images so far, and we will be getting her handling and looking amazing before we start upgrading the engine and brakes....lots more planned and its should be lots of fun around the Ring in 2014...

Cheers guys

Just got to mark up exactly where you take the badges from on bootlid and make sure paint Shop uses matt lacquer on them also.
Otherwise you end up with shiny badges and no idea of where to put them...lol

I have paint code if anyone needs it...

RS4 George turned up today in his new white B8.....very sexy beast - I was impressed

nothing really from our end, masking tape and a good quality double sided tape to restick the badges back onto car.

Gutted is an understatement - really wanted to catch up with everyone again and give the record breaking scoob its last blast out before we sell it...alas big plans for 2014, end of financial year and i've had 6 shows weve attended over the last month or so....
ADI on the weekend following sealed it for me sadly..

Have a great time Sonny

Pipercross Induction kit and full Milltek now fitted (inc pre cats removed)...sounds amazing and starting to fly now...!

Wheels didnt turn up from OZ in Italy in time so will be at ADi on std rims which is a shame...

Hope to catch up with you all 2morrow at the show and car is on Milltek stand & if your popping over say hello.

Early start for us geordies at 3.30am but worth it to see the sight and sounds of Germany's finest.
